This notice is written for California residents and explains, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) that amended it, how Illinois Tribal Loans treats personal information. It works alongside the Privacy Policy and describes the referral service operated on this site. Last reviewed: October 2026.
The Summary First
Illinois Tribal Loans refers applicants; it does not lend money. When a loan request goes in, the details you provided are transmitted to independent participating lenders, which then prepare offers. The CCPA can treat handing personal information to some third party for that party’s commercial benefit as a “sale” or “sharing” even where no payment is made for the data. That sharing can be ended at any time (the opt-out section below explains how), and nothing is ever shared by someone who only reads informational pages here.
What Gets Collected, and For What
| Category | Examples | Purpose | Shared with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | name, email address, phone, mailing address, IP | submitting, routing, and confirming a request | participating lenders; service providers |
| Loan request details | amount, income bracket, pay frequency | aligning the request with options licensed for it | participating lenders |
| Commercial information | offers seen or accepted | record keeping and service quality | participating lenders |
| Internet activity | pages viewed, referrer, device type | security and aggregate analytics | hosting and analytics providers |
| Geolocation | state-level region estimated from the IP address | sending the request to the correct state rules | participating lenders |
Sensitive categories stay out of scope here: no Social Security numbers and no account credentials move through this site. Anything further a lender requires is collected on that lender’s own forms, under that lender’s own notices.
The Outside Parties
- Participating lenders: independent companies that evaluate the request and set every rate, term, and approval themselves.
- Service providers: the hosting, email, and form infrastructure, contract-bound to use the data for the service and nothing else.
- Authorities: whenever a legal obligation calls for disclosure.
The Rights California Gives You
- Know: what gets collected, used, and disclosed, plus a portable copy of it.
- Delete: personal information, subject to the exceptions the statute allows.
- Correct: personal information that is wrong.
- Opt out: of any sale or sharing of personal information.
- Limit: how sensitive personal information gets used and disclosed.
- Non-discrimination: exercising any of these rights never changes your price or your access to the service.
Putting a Right to Work
Write to info@tribal-loans-illinois.com with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line. List your name, the email address connected to the request, the right you are invoking, and any detail that helps locate the records. Verification means matching what you send against what is already on file, with one follow-up confirmation possible. A properly authorized agent can write in your place with signed permission attached. Replies go out within 45 days, with a single extension available where the law allows.
Ending Sale or Sharing
Send a note to info@tribal-loans-illinois.com and make “Do Not Sell or Share My Information” the subject line; future sharing with participating lenders then ends. Two honest warnings: the referral model only works because requests are passed to lenders, so once opted out we cannot route a new request on your behalf; and the one certain way to prevent sharing is to submit no request at all. Reading pages here shares nothing, because the site carries no ad trackers and never sells browsing behavior.
Retention and Revisions
We keep request-related records only while processing, legal duties, and dispute resolution call for them, and they are deleted after that; analytics survive solely in aggregate form. This notice gets revised whenever the law or our own practices change, and the contact page is where questions belong.
